Teaching
I am available for teaching the Violin and Viola ranging from beginners to advanced level for all ages! I also offer Music Theory lessons.
I’m based in West London, but lessons can also be online too.
Having experience in teaching all the way up to grade 8, as well as leading a range of musical ensembles of different sizes, Pippa recognises that everyone learns differently and can adapt her teaching style towards each student, whether that be through different approaches or other repertoire.

Pippa is honest, hard-working, communicative, punctual, and good-natured; she is also a very fine musician. I feel confident that she is an excellent music teacher, and that her new students would greatly appreciate her positive attitude and warm-heartedness.
Simon Rigby – Composer/Conductor
Pippa Griffin is an inspiring teacher and has always been supportive to her peers on her undergraduate course. She is extremely well organised, an excellent time keeper, a highly skilled violinist and has great creative insights. Her final year project demonstrated not only a very high standard of performance on violin, but excellent teamworking skills. I wholeheartedly recommend Pippa Griffin.
Emilie Capulet – Award-winning International Concert Pianist, Lecturer, Musicologist and Writer
Pippa is a warm and sensitive teacher who is keen to support pupils in their progress whilst equipping them technically.
Esther Sheridan – Lecturer and LCM External Engagement Coordinator.
